We are a boutique law firm handling complex litigation involving real estate, title insurance, mortgage servicing, regulated industries and professions, construction, commercial collections, business and employment matters. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies, professionals, real estate developers, financial services companies, and other law firms in connection with highly contested matters primarily in D.C., Maryland and Virginia. We regularly appear in federal and state trial courts, bankruptcy courts, and appellate courts in connection with these matters. We are seeking a technology savvy individual, to be an impact player on high caliber team with significant responsibility and opportunity for growth. Looking for a detail-oriented problem solver, who is comfortable working on unique, complex commercial cases.
Primary duties involve litigation support, including drafting pleadings and other documents (beyond basic forms), discrete research projects, fact investigations, including forensic analysis, facilitating discovery and discovery responses, case management, maintaining litigation calendar and deadlines.
Essential computer skills include MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat, and preferred computer skills include experience with billing software, including Clio, as well as document review/ eDiscovery software/tools.
